Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  • Toast the slice of whole grain bread until golden brown.
  • While the bread toasts, cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  • Scoop the avocado flesh into a bowl and mash it with a fork until creamy.
  • Spread the mashed avocado evenly onto the toasted bread.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the avocado and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
