Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to its highest setting, ideally 250°C (482°F).
- Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the pizza dough into a round shape, about 10-12 inches in diameter.
- Spread the canned San Marzano tomatoes evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Tear the fresh mozzarella cheese into small pieces and distribute them over the tomato sauce.
- Season with salt, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and scatter fresh basil leaves on top.
- Transfer the pizza onto a baking tray or a pizza peel dusted with flour.
- Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a minute, slice, and serve hot.
