Classic Tiramisu Delight

Ingredients:

  • 250g of mascarpone cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 100ml of strong brewed coffee (cooled)
  • 50ml of coffee liqueur
  • 100g of ladyfinger biscuits
  • cocoa powder for dusting

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • serving glass
  • spatula
  • sifter

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, separate the eggs and beat the egg yolks with the granulated sugar until pale and creamy.
  • Add the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract to the mixture and gently fold until smooth.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold them gently into the mascarpone mixture.
  • In a shallow dish, mix the cooled brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
  • Quickly dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the coffee mixture and layer them at the bottom of the serving glass.
  • Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  • Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  • Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
