Cream of broccoli soup

Ingredients:

  • 200g of broccoli, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 500ml of vegetable broth
  • 100ml of cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Blender
  • Cooking pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring cups

Instructions:

  • In a cooking pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Add the chopped broccoli and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
  • Using a blender, carefully puree the soup until smooth.
  • Stir in the cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat the soup gently before serving, if necessary.
