Egg Fried Rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of cooked rice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of diced onion
  • 1/4 cup of peas
  • 1/4 cup of diced carrots
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 green onion for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Cooked rice
  • Bowl
  • Measuring cups

Instructions:

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Push the onion to one side of the pan and crack in the eggs.
  • Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, then mix them with the onions.
  • Add the cooked rice, peas, and carrots to the pan.
  • Pour the soy sauce over the rice and stir until everything is well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
