Garlic Butter Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 1 fillet (150g) of salmon
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Skillet
  • Spatula
  • Measuring spoons

Instructions:

  • Heat the skillet over medium heat and add the unsalted butter.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
  • Season the salmon fillet with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  • Place the salmon in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  • Flip the salmon and drizzle with lemon juice, continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked to your liking.
  • Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top before serving.
